What Is the Heritage of Odessa Foundation?
The Heritage of Odessa Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to the following:
- Preserving historic structures, sites, districts and objects which are
significant to Odessa/Ector County history, architecture, archeology and
culture.
- Collecting and placing historical papers, documents, artifacts and art in appropriate archives and museum repositories.
- Publishing and distributing educational materials which promote local historical preservation.
- Funding not-for-profit preservation projects with in Odessa/Ector County.
- Encouraging research and writing about local heritage to stimulate the development of historical resources.
- Supporting existing and future organizations, agencies, institutions and museums which are active in Odessa/Ector County historical preservation.
- Accepting, owning and operating structures of significant historical nature, where feasible.
